MY REFLECTION

I had a really great time with room 27 and my buddy. First it was kind of difficult to make the monster bookmark but then it got really easy to do. I had to help my partner to do it, when we did it she kept on asking for things to go on to it when it was done. I hope to work with them again and do more fun things with them.

Taster Lunch

On Friday the 19th of September rooms 22, 21 and 19 had a taster lunch so we can understand each other better as it as apart of our inquiry.I had a lot of fun and want to do it again.

I was learning to write a peaceful poem.  I found this tricky because I couldn't think of any peaceful places.  On this activity I worked with my friend Cheydan. Next time I could maybe use more adjectives and descriptive words.

I am proud of my self beacuase I have learnt more about stars and planets than I used to before. I really like my speech beacause I have put alot of effort into it. Next time I would like to work on maybe a bit more imformation in my speech.

Decimal match

MY REFLECTION

I was working with Trinity while doing this decimal match. I found this problem kind of hard because I didn't know much about doing decimals but I was using what I already know so that helped me allot. Next time I would like to work on doing more decimals in maths. 

Speech Marks

I was learning how to use speech marks. I found it easy because I kind of  know how to use speech marks. Next time I would like to work on using more speech marks in my writing.

My Reflection

I am proud because I learnt new things while I was doing bike skills and I think I did really well. I really enjoyed doing scooting because I never knew how to do it now I know how to do it

My Reflection

We learnt how to make a persuasive poster. My group used a rhetorical question, pictures, describing good things, paragraphs and sub headings, a slogan, not to much detail and bold eye catching words.

I am proud of my group because we put allot of effort in it. Next time I would like to work on cutting out the pictures and the coloured card so that the edges are nice and neater.

          I was learning to scoot and mount on the bike. I first found it hard then I got used to it.

I was learning to use what I know and my word knowledge to try and work out what a word means before I look it up. I was working with Rlisha and Trinity and we were really good at working together.

In term 3 I had improved in my maths a lot because I had been practising at home, my goal is to try beat my time and try to get under 3 minutes.

     I have been learning  to count with fractions on a number line. I found this problem kind of hard because I  don't really understand fractions a lot. Next I would like to work more on fractions so I can understand more. I can use materials and number lines to help me.

My Reflection

I was learning to use different paint skills.

The paint skills I used was stipple, drag, card print and sponge.

I found sponge easy because I had to dab a little paint on the end and dabbed it on to the painting with out using allot of paint. I need to work on my drag painting because I didn't use enough dark blue.

I found this very fun.It was quite hard though to summarise this piece of work in less sentences.

Interschool swimming competition

 I am proud because even though I didn't come first place I came third place. I tried my                            hardest to get into this race and I did. I really had allot of fun doing this.
